Camera megapixels: Why more isn't always better

A 16-megapixel smartphone camera sounds great, but an 8-megapixel shooter could still produce better pics. In a matter of months, the high-end smartphone camera spec rocketed from a respectable 8 megapixels to an altitudinous 13.
